Karachi: Pakistan Society for Human Resource Management (PSHRM), organized “Leadership and Management" Conference on May 4, 2010, at the DHA Golf Club in Karachi.
Ms. Fatima Asad-Said, Director, AbacusConsulting was invited to moderate a panel discussion on “Proactive HR – Impacting the Success of your Organization”, where leading business function leaders and experts from HR, Marketing, and the academia were involved. AbacusConsulting was also one of the sponsors of the Leadership and Management conference.
The conference also featured two international key note speakers, David Taylor and Larry Hochman.
Only a few leading CEOs and senior level executives were invited to participate in the proceedings of the conference. One of the highlights was also a powerful and thought-provoking speech made by Dr. Ishrat Hussain, Dean, Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi and former Governor, State Bank of Pakistan. The event was attended by a gathering of approximately 400 senior corporate executives from around the country.
