LAHORE: AbacusConsulting has signed an agreement with Project Management Unit (PMU)-Board of Revenue (BOR), Punjab for the automation of Board of Revenue, Punjab. Under this agreement, AbacusConsulting would provide consultancy services for the improvement in the overall efficiency and effectiveness of Board of Revenue, Punjab.
The contract was signed by Mr. Abbas Ali Khan, Partner, AbacusConsulting and Mr. Ali Raza Bhutta, Project Director, PMU-BOR at a contract signing ceremony held on Friday at the office of PMU-BOR.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Abbas Ali Khan, Partner, AbacusConsulting, said, “AbacusConsulting is delighted to be associated with BOR, Punjab, as its automation partner. Automation of BOR will transform Board of Revenue into a progressive organization, capable of providing efficient and timely services to the residents of Punjab.”
He further added, “AbacusConsulting will assist Board of Revenue, Punjab by improving its business processes, introducing appropriate IT systems for maintenance of records, and capacity building of the BOR staff, to reduce operational cost, improving customer services and better financial management.
The project will commence in May of this year and will be completed in two years by June 2012.
