AbacusConsultings Human Capital Solutions team conducted the Mercer All Industry TRS-2009 Pakistan Survey, the fifth in a row, with 62 companies from a wide mix of industries.
The survey presents a position by position monetized analysis of compensation and benefits offered after careful evaluation of assigned roles and responsibilities. It also offers clients the ability to customize their comparisons based on a select group of companies for each position. As it is an All Industry Survey, its primary focus is on positions that are found across industries, for example, in Finance, HR, Sales, Administration, General Management, etc., as opposed to industry specific positions. An all industry perspective allows us to take a holistic view of the market, much like our employees in these positions (e.g. Finance, HR, etc) and be able to calibrate our own compensation and benefits so as to improve retention and be able to attract good talent.
As always, the Post-Survey meetings were held in Karachi and Lahore which were attended by the respective client HR representatives. The meeting covered the major findings and a training session of Mercers on-line data mining tool, PayMonitor, which provides an on-line comparison between company data and the market.
