Asad Ali KhanAsad Ali Khan
Chairman/CEO


An FCA from Australia, Mr. Khan has been involved in management consulting work for over 30 years with strategic leadership roles, undertaking a wide range of multidisciplinary projects and advising multinational corporations, governments and multilateral organizations. He has been a senior partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting covering the Middle East and Pakistan Region. His diverse portfolio includes working as a thought leader and visionary for a variety of clients in the industry and commerce. He has also been involved in top-level consultancy at the Board level and has acted as an advisor to or as a professional Board member on Corporate Boards of several multi-national companies in Pakistan and the Middle East.

 


Paul BatchelorPaul Batchelor
Board Member


Mr. Batchelor was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was Global Geography Leader and Head of Global Strategy from 2000 to 2004. Mr. Batchelor went to the University of Cambridge where he developed his interest in geography and development economics. In 1969, he joined the government of Swaziland and Malawi as a development economist and planner and then as Chief Economist in the Malawi Government. He worked for Coopers & Lybrand, in different capacities, such as Executive Director, Head of Consulting in Europe and Chairman of the Worldwide Consulting Business and Deputy Head of UK Consulting. He spent his early career as an Overseas Development Institute (ODI) Fellow and UNDP Economist in Swaziland and Malawi. He also worked as Acting Chief Economist in the Malawi Government. Presently Mr. Batchelor is the Chairman of Crown Agents UK, Oxford Policy Management UK and International Advisory Councils of Transparency International.

 


Aamer ChaudhryAamer Chaudhry
Global Leader

Mr. Chaudhry is the Head of Business Transformation Solutions business vertical. He is a qualified chartered accountant from England & Wales, fellow member of ICAEW and ICAP and a member of the Institute of Financial Consultants, Canada/USA. With an overall experience of 20 years, he has spent six years with KPMG firm in England and 8 years with PwC Consulting in Pakistan and Middle East. He has conducted and directed several projects (Public and Private sectors) relating to financial reforms, business process re-engineering, ERP system development and implementation, formulation of policies & procedures, institutional restructuring, fiscal decentralization, development of medium term budgeting framework and training for trainers. He has demonstrated experience of directing and managing complex retransformation projects with a keen insight into public sector reform issues and the cultural sensitivity required for clients His experience ranges from high level economic and policy analysis through operational management and financial reviews to detailed planning, design and implementation. He has undertaken work with a broad range of public sector clients in central and local governments funded by the international agencies. In addition, Mr. Chaudhry also acted as National Consultant for the Public Financial Management and Accountability Assessment (PFMAA) assignment for the NWFP province with the World Bank.



Abbas Ali KhanAbbas Ali Khan

Mr. Khan is the Head of the Information Technology Solutions (ITS) business vertical at AbacusConsulting and is a key player in the leadership team. He has launched a number of new initiatives with the group and his portfolio, includes of Business Process Outsourcing, Applications Development and Management, SAP Middle Market Solution Delivery and Quality Database for Direct Marketing Solutions. Mr. Khan works within these areas of expertise across a number of local and global industries including Manufacturing, Telecommunications, Banking, Government, Retail and Financial Services, Consumer Goods Manufacturers and Competitive Data Management for the whole of Insurance sector in Britain and leads a team of more than 900 professionals.. He has worked closely at Board-level with enterprises who are leaders in their industry and has led a variety of large engagements. Mr. Khan has Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Oxford University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Before joining AbacusConsulting in the year 2000, he worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in London for more than 4 years within its Information and Communications Advisory Division.



Ali ShaukatAli Shaukat

Mr. Shaukat is the Head of Operations. With a professional experience of 25+ years with consulting and accounting firms, Mr. Shaukat specializes in the areas of corporate and strategic profiling, investment structuring, fiscal regime including corporate tax and customs duty tariff with bilateral treaties, foreign investments, joint ventures, regulatory framework, royalties, capital markets and corporate and banking laws. He has an impressive portfolio of clients in the public and private sectors including financial and brokerage houses, corporate and investment firms, textile mills, construction firms, private trusts, Insurance companies, and commercial banks.




Inayat Koreshi Inayat Koreshi
Business Leader

Mr. Koreshi is the Head of our enterprise applications/SAP practice. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (FCA), CFC (Canada) and a member of the Corporate Secretaries Practitioners (corporate legal management). He received his early training with Ernst & Young and later moved to Coopers & Lybrand / PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Koreshi has over 13 years’ experience in business transformation projects, both in Pakistan and the Middle East, and specialized advanced level training in PWC Program and Project Methodology. Some of his recent projects (last few years) include involvement as PM/Track Lead on BPR and ERP implementation projects at PIFRA-SAP, DOHMS Dubai, Aga Khan, Sui Southern Gas Diagnostics, Aero Asia and Project Director on all our SAP projects. He has also worked as QA Director on various large ERP/BPR projects in the Defense, Public, Manufacturing, Chemical, Automobile and Oil & Gas Sectors. Mr. Koreshi directs the presales, contracting, implementation, change management and process realignment activity. He is rated as a Subject Matter Expert in services linked with Business Process Transformation (Program and Project Management, BPR and ERP implementations) and acts as the key business value architect, interfacing with client senior management in defining and executing project strategies and roadmaps.




Fatima Asad-SaidFatima Asad-Said
Executive Director

Ms. Asad-Said is the Head of Human Capital Solution business vertical at AbacusConsulting. An MBA from LUMS and having acquired several specializations in HR, Ms. Asad-Said has been associated with HR Consulting for over a decade and started her professional career with Coopers and Lybrand Consulting which later became PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting in Pakistan. During the course of her career, Ms. Asad-Said has gained extensive experience and exposure to the environment and challenges that are faced by both local and multinational firms in managing their Human Capital and has used her knowledge and experience to benefit her clients by delivering realistic and workable HR solutions. She has led several projects, both within public as well as private sectors and has focused on the development of organizational strategies that integrate human resource practices with the long-term strategic business plans through systems enhancement, capacity building and supporting learning activities. Ms. Asad-Said has been instrumental in bringing best practice HR methodologies into Pakistan and now focuses on spreading the use and application of these best practices. She is committed to creating awareness, understanding and application in use of the latest techniques and scientific methodologies for conducting Job Evaluation using the Mercer International Position Evaluation methodology.




Murtaza Ali KhanMurtaza Ali Khan

Mr. Khan is Practice Area Leader and in charge of managing our operations in the United Arab Emirates. Through our strategic partnership with Fragomen Global, we have established an office in the UAE with coverage over the entire Middle East region. Fragomen Global is the world’s leading global provider of corporate migration services and solutions. With more than 1,000 professional throughout over 30 strategically located offices across 14 countries, Fragomen offer the highest calibre of migration services available on a global, regional or country basis. Prior to this, Mr. Khan has had over five years of experience in delivering professional services to clients whilst working with PricewaterhouseCoopers. This includes over four years at their London office and one year in their Sydney office. Mr. Khan’s time at PricewaterhouseCoopers includes a diversity of experience including Corporate Finance Advisory, Migration Services and Audit & Assurance Services. Consequently, he has also had exposure to a variety of industries including Information Technology, Housing, Telecommunications, Outsourcing and Media & Entertainment. He has serviced clients such as prominent public sector bodies and multinational companies. Mr. Khan is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), having qualified with PricewaterhouseCoopers in London. Mr. Khan holds a Bachelors degree from the University of Durham having read Philosophy and Psychology.




Arshad Iqbal Arshad Iqbal
Executive Director

Mr. Iqbal holds Master Degrees in computer sciences and business administration from QA and Gomal Universities, respectively. He is a SAP ERP specialist with 16 years of experience in core business processes and functionality supported by SAP R/3, particularly in the areas of Sales, Distribution and Material Management. With strong capability in business process modeling, system configuration, customization, integration and project management acquired through hands-on experience of SAP implementation at blue chip companies, Mr. Iqbal has the rare distinction of being able to advise clients on strategic issues concerning ERP, system development, ROI and road maps aimed at achieving corporate vision on a fast track basis.




Alliya HaidarAlliya Haidar
Executive Director

Ms. Haidar is the Head of our Corporate Finance & Strategy Consulting business vertical. She has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) in Corporate Finance and Marketing Strategy and a Bachelor’s degree from Kinnaird College, and. She has led and contributed to several consulting assignments in a diverse portfolio of industries including power, oil & gas, fertilizer, textile, education, tourism & hospitality, and other industrial and consumer sectors. She has been involved in planning, strategizing, coordinating, administering and implementing these projects. Her core competency areas include business strategy, privatization and investment planning, regulatory issues, sector studies, environmental issues, research and analyses. Ms Haidar is a professional with more than 15 years of management and consulting experience in a varied and multinational environment - nearly 9 of which have been spent with AbacusConsulting and its legacy firms.
