Abacus wins DFID funded Sub-National Governance (SNG) Programme
Abacus has won an important project to deliver management and advisory services for Sub-National Governance (SNG) Programme in Punjab and Khyber-Pukhtunkhwa. This is a DFID funded project, led by Oxford Policy Management (OPM) in association with Coffey and AbacusConsulting.
The SNG Programme aims to contribute towards more stable democracy in Pakistan; by ensuring that government services better meet the needs of poor people in Punjab and Khyber-Pukhtunkhwa. Through this programme, the management organizations (MO) will support these objectives by enabling delivery of 3 programme level outputs:
1. Decisions by sub-national governments are based on robust evidence
2. Sub-national government services are more responsive to peoples' needs
3. Strengthened sub-national government capability to deliver basic services
