Abacus participated in Pakistan India Management Summit

Nutshell Forum, Pakistan’s premier conference management organization, in collaboration with Aman Ki Asha (a peace initiative of Jang Group and The Times of India) hosted the first ever Pakistan India Management Summit on Thursday & Friday, September 20 & 21, 2012 in Lahore. The theme chosen for this summit was “Leadership for New Economic Realities”.

Over a hundred and fifty Indian delegates and about seven hundred Pakistani delegates attended the event which was termed as the "Management Event of the Year in South Asia". The Summit incorporated keynote speeches, interviews, panel debates, breakfast talks, cultural evening, music, gala dinners, art exhibition, sightseeing and Pakistan India Golf Match.

Employees from AbacusConsulting became a part of this learning experience and a healthy networking opportunity as they came across executives and decisions-makers from other firms and industries. Our delegation listened to the insights that were delivered by hardened industry experts from both countries regarding the challenges ahead, the latest methods of competing in the demanding environment and the skills involved to be prepared for these issues.

The summit was followed by Pakistan-India Golf Match on Saturday, September 22, 2012. After attending this informative summit, delegates returned to their offices with a clearer outlook and with practical solutions to some of the executive challenges that lie ahead. It is hoped that the Pakistan India Management Summit will open new channels of thinking which can be translated into tangible business solutions for organizations.
