Ayub Khan
Mr. Khan is the head of Performance and Development Management practice area. He is a fellow member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK and Balanced Scorecard Professional, USA. His overall experience spans over 18 years in the field of management consulting, strategy management, public financial management, advisory and assurance in Pakistan and UK. He has managed and executed several large scale public and private sector projects in the areas of budgeting, business process reengineering, institutional capacity building, development of policies and procedure, change management, design and implementation of performance management systems through Balanced Scorecard and led many trainings. He is also a visiting faculty member of the Audit and Accounts Institute of Pakistan and participated as one of the panelist in various book reviews on strategy, performance and change management. He led a team of high profile researchers in designing a strategic performance management framework for public and private sector. He has also in depth experience in directing and managing country wide public sector reforms and has demonstrated excellent project management skills. He has worked with various tiers of government, public sector organizations and development agencies and understands well the sensitivity and ways of working of these institutions

Suqlain Haider has over 20 years of professional, managerial, technical and capacity building experience. In the early years of his career, Suqlain has worked on a USAID funded project for almost 2 years from 1990 to1992. In 1992, he became a member of the startup team of an Islamabad based development consultancy firm, KZR Associates. This is where Suqlain has expanded his development management experience by working on number of development projects directly financed by bi-lateral donors. After working for a foreign mission in Pakistan (Australian High Commission) and a US multinational (General Electric) for 7 to 8 years, Suqlain founded a development support and management consultancy firm in the year 2002 where he had implemented number of ADB and UN assisted projects in Pakistan and abroad. At his current position at Abacus, Suqlain has been performing against a three dimensional role of business development, project implementation support and practice area development in the Performance and Development Management sub-vertical. Suqlain is MBA and MS from a public university in Islamabad. .

Sohail Ahmed is a public financial management specialist who has over nine years of practical experience in the private and public sectors. During his career with Abacus, his prime assignments remained in the areas of public finance, performance management, monitoring and evaluation, effective policy implementation and capacity building of client organizations. His exposure counted all the administrative tiers of public sector right from federal ministries, provincial departments to the district and Tehsil levels. At the Medium Term Budget Framework (MTBF) project of the federal Ministry of Finance, he has contributed in developing the performance based budgeting and assisted its implementation in several line ministries including Ministry of Education. During this little more than four years long assignment, Sohail was also involved in activities addressing the sustainability elements of the project. This would include planning, designing and implementing several PFM related training programmes for different cadres. As a team leader, Sohail provided advisory services to the Government of Punjab for implementing a third party computerised financial management system (CFMS) in thirty four (34) Tehsil Municipal Administrations (TMAs). Sohail Ahmed is MPhil with specialization in economics and finance from NUST Pakistan.
